Position Overview
In consultation with the Dean of Admissions, the Campus Visit Coordinator (CVC) is responsible to schedule, coordinate, and administrate all aspects of prospective student visit events including daily visits, athletic visits, group visits, school visits, University Friday’s, Saturdays at Nelson, Campus Days, and any other type of campus visit programming. The CVC is responsible to hire and oversee all student campus ambassadors involved in the campus visit programming and receptionist areas. Lastly, the CVC assists the Dean with various administrative projects such as supply ordering, inventory ordering and audit, office maintenance, large meeting preparations, etc.
 
 
Major Responsibilities:
•         Plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of prospective student visit events, including but not limited to: daily visits, athletic visits, group visits, school visits, University Friday’s, Saturdays at Nelson, and Campus Days
•         Answer every request for campus visits
•     Provide day-to-day decision making related to prospective students and visit events 
•         Prepare a customized visit schedule for campus visits
•         Schedule and communicate with admissions counselors, appropriate faculty and staff departments, and student organizations for requested meetings with prospective students and integration into campus visit programming events
•         Prepare all materials for each visit
•     Reserve all facilities and catering needed for visit events 
•     Help troubleshoot campus issues that directly impact the visit experience 
•     Under approved oversight of the Dean, administrate a portion of the Admissions budget 
for the successful execution of visit events
•         Provide reports on all visits and visit events
•         Manage a system for analyzing guest feedback and implement changes, as needed
•         Manage the campus visit portion of the Nelson website in conjunction with Webmaster
•         Process and manage many visit aspects within the CRM (Slate)
•         As the first person many guests will speak with, this person will present a friendly demeanor, anticipating and responding to guest needs, listening to and resolving concerns and complaints, and providing excellent customer service throughout the guest’s experience with the University
•         Hire, train, and supervise all student campus ambassadors involved in the campus visit programming and receptionist area
•         Manage the Admissions email inbox (Slate), Admissions voicemail, and university operator phone line 
•         Assist with administrative tasks and special projects as assigned, including but not limited to, supply ordering, inventory ordering and audit, office maintenance, and large meeting preparations
 
Organizational Relationship:
•         Reports directly to the Dean of Admissions
 
Qualifications: 
·         Faith, service and lifestyle that meets University expectations (See IPM sections: “Statement of Core Values,” “Doctrinal Statement,” “Christian Standards,” “Lifestyle Standard.”) 
•         Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university is preferred. 
•         Excellent communication skills are a must (written, phone, interpersonal, etc.) 
•         Must possess incredible organizational, project management, and time management skills 
•         Must be skilled in word processing, database entry, etc. 
•         Self-motivated/Self-Starter; and team player 
•         Ability to hire and manage a team of student workers
