Nelson University, Waxahachie, TX is seeking applicants for adjunct faculty openings for our partner sites.
Position Description: Teach adjunct undergraduate and graduate level courses in both online and partner site modes.

Prepare and oversee the delivery of Nelson University courses in online and partner site modes.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
· Faith, service, and lifestyle that meets University expectations (See IPM sections: “Statement of Core Values,” “Doctrinal Statement,” “Christian Standards,” “Lifestyle Standard.”)
· A graduate degree in the field of study with sufficient courses in that area to be able to teach undergraduate courses from a college, seminary, or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university. A terminal degree is required to teach graduate level courses.
· A commitment to academic excellence and spiritual vitality.
· Faith, mission and community lifestyle standards that meet University expectations.
· Ministerial credentials with the Assemblies of God is preferred for teaching Bible/Theology and Practical Ministry courses.

1. Copies of transcripts from all higher education institutions (must be from a regionally accredited school). During preliminary interviews, we may photocopy these transcripts. However, as your candidacy formalizes, we'll need official transcripts.
2. A 3-5 page excerpt of a paper you completed for any graduate-level work.
3. A written expression of your philosophy of Christian Higher Education.
4. Two letters of reference, including one pastoral reference, if available. (E.g. If you attend a mega church, you may or may not know the senior pastor, so it is acceptable to ask any minister familiar with your faith to write a letter of reference for you.)
5. Completion of the Faculty Application Survey: Faith and Mission Alignment document
